SHIPPING & RETURNS

At RUMI OF SWEDEN we strive to offer a smooth and reliable delivery experience. We work with well-established transport companies to ensure that your order reaches you safely and efficiently. Here you will find all the information about our delivery times, shipping costs and how to track your shipment. 
 
Delivery areas and carriers 
 
We deliver within Sweden and the EU via DHL and DB Schenker. All orders are shipped from our warehouse and delivered to the nearest agent or Service Point, where you can easily pick up your package at a time that suits you. 
 
Delivery times 
 
Delivery times vary depending on the country of delivery and carrier. Below you will find an estimate of our normal delivery times:  

  • Sweden: 2–4 business days

  • EU: 3–5 business days  

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as transportation delays, holidays or other unforeseen events. 
 
Shipping cost  

  • Sweden: Free shipping on all products, regardless of order value.

  • EU: Shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout based on destination.  


Tracking your order 
 
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a delivery confirmation via email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your shipment via the carrier's website.  

If you have not received your delivery confirmation within 24 hours of completing your purchase, please check your spam folder. If you are still missing information, contact us at support@rumiofsweden.com and we will help you . 
 
Unclaimed packages

If you do not collect your package within the carrier's specified deadline, it will automatically be returned to us.
 

  • DHL: Packages must be picked up within 7 days.  

  • DB Schenker: Packages must be picked up within 14 days.  

These timeframes follow the carriers' current policies and are subject to change. We recommend that you pick up your package as soon as possible to avoid returns and additional fees. 
 
For unclaimed packages, a fee of SEK 300 will be charged . The fee covers part of our costs for shipping, handling, packaging and return handling at our warehouse. 
 
If you wish to cancel a purchase after the order has been shipped, you must first collect the package and then complete a return according to our return policy. An uncollected package is not considered a valid return. 
 
Customs, VAT and taxes  

  • Within the EU: VAT is charged according to the country-specific VAT rate for the country of delivery. The VAT amount is displayed at checkout and is included in the total price.

  • Outside the EU: Orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, import taxes and other administrative costs determined by the customs authority of the recipient country. These charges are paid by the customer upon delivery.  

We have no control over such fees and recommend that you contact your local customs office for more information about any additional costs before completing your purchase. 
 
Delays and Force Majeure

We do our best to deliver your order within the stated time. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as:  

  • Natural disasters ( e.g. storms, floods, earthquakes)

  • Pandemics or epidemics

  • Strikes and labor disputes

  • Transport disruptions

  • Technical errors in transporters  

In the event of a Force Majeure situation, delivery may be delayed without our being held responsible. We will notify you of any major delays and do our best to handle the situation as quickly as possible.

Returns & Return Policy

At RUMI OF SWEDEN we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you regret your purchase or need to return an item, we offer a 14-day return policy from the day you receive your order. 
 
Return policy 
 
For a return to be approved, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be unused and in the same condition as when it was received.
  • All original packaging, labels and any protective details must be intact .
  • The return must be pre-notified via our customer service at support@rumiofsweden.com before the item is sent back.
  • Products that are customized or specially ordered are not covered by the right of return.


If the product is returned in a condition that does not meet the above requirements, we reserve the right to refuse the return or deduct an amount corresponding to the decrease in value .

How to return an item

  1. Contact us at support@rumiofsweden.com and provide your order number and which item you want to return.
  2. When your return is approved, you will receive a return form and shipping label sent to your email.
  3. Pack the item carefully in the original packaging or equivalent packaging to ensure that it is not damaged during transport.
  4. Attach the shipping label to the package and submit it to the designated shipping agent.
  5. Please keep the delivery receipt until we have processed your return. 


Return fee

The following return fees apply to returns and are automatically deducted from the refund:

  • Sweden: 99 SEK
  • EU: 250 SEK 


Refund

  • Once we have received and approved your return, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 14 days .
  • If the item is used, lacks original packaging or is damaged, we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund based on the decrease in value.
  • The refund will be made via the same payment method used for the purchase.  


Exchange of goods

If you want to exchange an item, we ask you to return it according to the above return process and then place a new order via our webshop.

Complaints

If you have received an item that is defective, damaged or incorrect , please contact us immediately at support@rumiofsweden.com after you have received and inspected the item.

In order for us to handle your case as smoothly as possible, please include:

  • Order number
  • Clear description of the error
  • Pictures showing the damage or defect  


If the complaint is approved, we will cover the return shipping and replace you with a new item or refund the purchase price, depending on the situation and availability.
